Streaming A Live Audio Feed

Have you ever wanted to stream an audio device from your computer, so other people could tune in around the world? Well I have. The existing news today is that by using Windows Media Encoder you can do just that.

My story is that I sent a resume to KOWZ (a local news station here). Considering that I should make it available to them to stream their radio station over the internet. Are you reading KOWZ? I want the job :) All that this requires is a Windows machine and Windows Media Encoder. I found an article titled how to stream a live audio file, it contains all of the details involved in setting this up.

Keep in mind if you're going to do this a different way, audio and video hosting services are very expensive. I take no responsibility no charges you may incur.

I wish you luck on your quest to higher knowledge.
